Zoooooooooo

Hello again. This past week I had a few days off work so I decided I should do something fun, and what is more fun than a zoo? Nothing.

My boyfriend and I went, and we got there late so we had to quick run though the zoo and see all the animals before it closed. Then we went downtown shopping, and to my favorite place in the whole world. Ella's Deli!

I took a ton of pictures throughout the day, I will just let them do the talking this time.

The lion's were starting to fight/play.



I would have to say monkeys are probably my favorite animal to see at the zoo.

My second favorite are penguins, BUT they weren't outside when we went. It was very sad.



It was so cool to see him with his feathers out. One of the most beautiful things ever.



I can't believe how long their feathers are when they are folded down, it's like one really long tail they drag around all day.

At Ella's Deli. The best place in the world. I ordered matzo ball chicken noodle soup, and a 3 scoop banana slip sundae with marsh mellow and hot fudge topping. To say the least it was delicious.

Fashion News & Summerfest Outfits

My dad was watching the news when I arrived home for dinner break from work, and I heard an advertisements for a portion of upcoming news about skinny jeans and health risks. Of course I waited and waited to hear the 10 second news case about it...

Apparently wearing your skinny jeans too tight can cause damage to a nerve in your upper thigh. It's a very small nerve; therefore, easily damaged. If the nerve is damaged it can cause tingling in your thigh. The doctor that was briefly shown said to stay away from jeans that are uncomfortably tight and he also recommends avoiding skinny jeans with high heels.

Not sure if I'll be following Dr's orders this time.

I thought you all would enjoy hearing that little story about my day, and now I have 2 outfits from a music festival I went to with my boyfriend about a week and a half ago. We stayed in a hotel for 2 nights and took a mini vacation. The first 2 days were spent and the festival and the third day we went shopping (nothing special, but I will show you a picture of what I bought at the bottom of the page).

The first day of the festival we were just walking around so I wanted to dress cute, but still comfortable. I love these leather shorts; they are very comfortable and versatile.

I paired them with a baggy top and tucked it it in order to still keep my figure.

I definitely want to do a vlog about the company that made this tank. I bought it the first day I went to the music festival and fell in love with their booth and everything they were selling.

My mom also bought me a unique necklace from them I will show you in the video.





My boyfriend and I waited to see Sublime with Rome (one of my favorite bands) for 6+ hours. I knew we would be waiting most of the day so I wanted to dress extra comfortable.

I've had these shorts for 3 summers I mainly only wear them on lazy days, but I thought they would be perfect for this casual outfit paired with a simple tank.

I also brought a red cardigan to wear when it got cold out at night.

This is the Coach bag I thrifted for less than $20.

B2S Thrift Haul Video

Hello again.

Today I'm uploading one of the videos I talked about in my last post. It is my exciting Back to School Thrift Haul. I went shopping with my mom at a thrift store; she was looking for some furniture, and I was looking for clothes (and I found a lot). I was surprised at how much I found that day, and even more at how much it all cost.

I found everything in the first part of the video for only $20. I had a 35% off coupon that was about to expire, which is somewhat the reason to going. My boyfriend saw everything I had bought that day while he was at work, and was a little jealous, so I said I would go with him the next day (I would never turn down a chance to shop). I found a few more items the second day, but since we went to the same thrift store I had picked through what I wanted already.

I'm very happy with everything I found and can't wait to go back to school and wear it all! I hope you enjoy the video.

Outfit of the Day- Mixing Patterns

Hello all. Today's post will be just of my outfit. I didn't do much today, but film videos and have a relaxing day. I have been working like crazy lately and had my first day off in a week, and tomorrow I will be working another 7 days in a row.

I'm mostly trying to save for college expenses, but I'm also hoping to buy myself a pair of disco pants at the end of the summer. If I do get them (there is always the fact that I might not like the way they fit) I will definitely be doing a review/styling of them.

Anyway back to today. I filmed 3 videos that will be periodically uploaded within the next week or so. I do apologize in advance for wearing the same outfit (the one featured today) in the 3 videos.

I hope you enjoy today's outfit, and here it is...

 These shorts are a DIY project I did in the beginning of summer. They were long (very ugly I might add) carpi's. They were pretty much the same width from the thighs down.

A tip if your looking for pants to make into shorts is don't worry if the length is too long or anything. All that matters is that the shorts fit your waist and thighs since you will be cutting off everything else.



A tip for mixing patterns is make sure your working with the same color pallet, and one print is bigger than the other.

Princess Vera Wang

Hello. Today I have some very exciting news for everyone!

I just received my Teen Vogue magazine in the mail yesterday, and I was happy to learn Kohl's is introducing a new Vera Wang line. Now if you don't already know, I love Kohl's and I especially love Vera Wang. I adore her line at Kohl's as well as her collections outside of Kohl's.

Anyway back to the new line called Princess. It will be up on the website July 9th which is in only 9 days!! From the magazine article and the advertisement in the magazine it looks as though some clothes will be in store the same day or around that time, and then more will be coming in future months (August, September) until it is completely out.

Here is the link of the Kohl's website where you can preview the collection, Princess Vera Wang.

You should also check out the Teen Vogue magazine where they have a few pages of advertisements, an article about the new line (with one of her daughters as the model), and also some of the clothes are styled in the fashion shoots toward the back of the magazine.

My favorite piece I saw in the magazine article is the pink polka dot pants. I will most definitely be purchasing those when they come out. I'm looking forward to shopping the new collection and doing a haul/review for you.
