Outfit of the Day

Hey! I have an outfit for you today. It's just a simple outfit that I wore to school today. The shirt I'm wearing is from the haul I uploaded last week, and I wanted to show you how to I styled it.

And I must say that I am loving button downs right now. They are so comfortable, very easy to wear, and can be styled just about any way you want to.

DIY- Dip Dyed Demin Vest

This past weekend my friend, Meghan, and I dip dyed denim vests that we bought at Goodwill. I decided not to film it because there are so many videos on YouTube about this. I will just give you the quick steps to how we did it.

You need:

Denim Vest

Bleach

 Medium sized Bucket and possibly small cup

and preferable do this in a bathtub or outside

We first filled the bottom of our bucket with bleach the added a little water. There was about 3-4 inches of bleach and water in the bottom of our bucket.

Then we let (one) vest sit in the bleach and checked on it every 10-15 minutes. It was probably in there for a total of an hour (some denim might take longer depending on how dark it is originally).

To make the bleach fade better with the denim just dip your vest in the bleach for a second or two and pull it out to let sit for 15 minutes. You might need to repeat that a couple times to get the fading just right.

If you want the bottom to be really bleached soak it in a little cup of just bleach for about 15 minutes or longer depending on what you prefer.

Then you are done!

Outfit- Dinner with the fam.

Hey. Today I have my outfit from Saturday. We went to one of my favorite restaurants, and it was delicious!

The sweater was the main piece of the outfit so I kept the rest of it pretty simple by just using black pieces.



Hehe.

The shoes I'm wearing are probably my favorite shoes right now. They are Nine West, and I found them at a resale boutique for only $12. The little kitten heels are perfect for any occasion, and make them very comfortable.

These pants are from Express and I love them! They are more of a cotten material, but still sturdy enough to be worn as pants not just leggings. Plus I love the cool zipper pockets in the front.

Outfit- Date Night

I have some pictures of my outfit from Friday night. Me and Steve went to see 21 Jump Street, and it was hilarious! You should go see it if you haven't yet, and let me know what you think.

Fashion Tip- wear socks under your boots for a more stylish look. You can either bunch them down like I did here or wear them over your knee (I wanted to do that, but these weren't tall enough)
